Job PurposeNational Grid IT team is currently seeking an innovative, adaptable, and results-oriented leader to lead an IT Customer solutions portfolio within our IT Customer area.
This leader will be responsible for leading an organization of software & systems engineers, business systems analysts, application architects & technical project managers who plan, design, develop, test and deploy technology solutions that meet & exceed National Grid internal & external customers.
As an experienced Lead Solutions Engineer, you will manage a dedicated solutions development teams that incorporate customer-centric design thinking practices and standard Waterfall & Agile/Lean software development methodologies.
This role will report to the Director of IT Customer within the National Grid IT organization.
Key AccountabilitiesManage a portfolio of IT Solutions projects in a Customer Billing domain Sets technology strategy and direction for our Legacy Systems (CRIS/CSS/Meter-to-Cash Services) platform; partners with business stakeholders and influences overall strategy and use of Customer Billing capabilitiesInitiates and fosters relationships with business partner teams and executives, technology leaders, vendors, and partners; develops relationships that promote trust and increase efficiency and effectivenessLeads, coaches and counsels team members, and determines and manages staffing strategy and plan, consistent with the needs of the teamProvides leadership to solution development teams, and proactively engages with teams to promote process and organizational improvements that enhance overall effectiveness.
Especially drive Agile & SAFe methodologies.
Prepares and presents program-level communications for executives and stakeholdersEstablishes financial plan for department and manages to plan, and jointly establishes financial targets with business partnersDevelops and maintains a network of industry contacts; performs research on industry trends, competitors, business and IT products; analyzes trends and make strategic and tactical recommendationsEnsures system, technical and product architectures are aligned with business objectivesSupervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required Demonstrate valued business partner capabilities and behaviors in all interactions with colleagues, vendors and business stakeholders.

Possession of excellent interpersonal, team, and relationship-building skills.
Qualificationso Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or in related field; Master's Degree preferredo Experience leading large, multi-year, business-critical CRIS/CSS/Meter-to-Cash technology programso At least 10
years of experience working in the technology industry with 3
years in leadership role.
o Thorough knowledge of Agile software delivery models (Kanban, Scrum, etc.
)o Ability to promote and role model a team-oriented environmento Ability to lead technology teams in different locations in USo Highly developed negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skillso Highly developed oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills Preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
